Tiny crimps are used mainly with beading wires, to fix beads in place at certain points of your creation and/or to form a loop with which to attach a clasp. Thread a crimp onto the beading wire, add your clasp then double back through the crimp. Use half round nosed pliers to flatten the crimp, or for a professional look use crimping pliers then a crimp cover. The loose end of the beading wire can be trimmed, or if your piece is fully beaded thread it back through the last few beads for a neat finish.
