Devon wool is long and wavy. It is a durable wool, spun for hard-wearing outer layer garments and for carpets.
Natural white in colour. Appropriately, it’s a creamy white (Devonshire is also known for its cream).

About the breed
Devon Longwool sheep and have a centuries-long history in the South West of England.
Devon sheep have the reputation of producing the most wool per sheep than almost any other British breed, although they are raised for both wool and meat. They are a hardy breed, able to cope with most grazing conditions. They are a large breed, and both males and females are polled.
