These are great DIY doll shoes because they’re ‘old shoes,’ the kind that people could and did make themselves all over the world. There were thousands of years of slippers (including Cinderella's) before the high heel, and while today we usually use them as a casual shoe, they can also be covered with beadwork and fine stitching for formal occasions. If you’re interested in shoe making this is a great starting point!
Patterns included: Slipper/Flat shoe pattern with basic flats, fur lined, and fuzzy variations
Sizing: Lots of different sizes are included. These shoes are custom fit to each doll's foot as you make them, so they fit almost everyone!
Volks resin & vinyl bjds, Smart Dolls, Fairyland minifees, 60cm, 65cm flat feet all work great. Exceptions are are dolls with arched/high heel sculpted feet, and dolls with less human foot shapes, like kid dolls often have short/thick stubbs.
Supplies needed: 1/4 yard fabric, vinyl & thin craft foam for shoe soles, fabric glue.
Difficulty: Easy (there are only 2 seams to sew).
